  Abstract:  The Christian Pedagogy in the Work of St. Gregory of Nyssa. Saint Gregory of Nyssa was a continuer of Christian teachers who have worked in the 2-nd and 3-rd century in the early church, especially in catechetical schools. Saint Gregory’s works emphasize in its depth, biblical knowledge models they knew God, managed to overcome an intellectualist knowledge centered on reason, to a knowledge based by virtue of faith and also to a contemplative knowledge. The main purpose of education presented in Saint Gregory’s is perfection in Christ, which is the model by excellence.
