  Abstract:  În anul 2003, la Viena, s-a ţinut prima întâlnire în cadrul Programului Intensiv Erasmus: The Concept of God in Europe’s Global Religious Dialogue. Proiectul a fost susţinut de un grup de profesori printre care s-au numărat Ass. Prof. Dr. Norbert Hintersteiner (Catholic University of America, School of Theology and Religious Studies), Prof. Dr. François Bousquet (Institut Catholique de Paris, Faculté de Théologie et de Sciences Religieuses), Prof. Dr. Jacques Haers (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven). Programul, finanţat din fonduri europene, a fost conceput ca un cadru larg de dialog, purtat de invitaţi din toate regiunile Europei, în trei întâlniri cu tematici diferite, subordonate temei generale. Programul de lucru pentru fiecare din cele trei conferinţe a fost structurat în două secţiuni – cea a comunicărilor ţinute de profesorii invitaţi şi cea a grupurilor de lucru ale tinerilor cercetători, aflaţi în perioada de pregătire doctorală, din universităţile implicate în proiect.
