Abstract:  The Theology of Logos to St. Justin the Martyr and the Philosopher. St. Justin the Martyr and Philosopher is the first one who uses the term of “Logos” in his religious works. The teaching about the Logos took both central concepts from the Greek philosophy, “logos” and “nomos”, but included them in a new theological conception. He introduces the concept of “logos spermaticos”, and he doesn’t understand by “logos” the thinking, but the divine “logos”. St Justin finds the proof for the identity of the embodied “logos” with the pre-existent logos, which is the intermediate of creation and revelation. As a theologian, Justin the Martyr makes a step forward, which will be of great importance for Christology and for the concept about God.
