  Abstract:  La Sainte Vierge Marie au concile Vatican II. Le present article ne vise pas de presenter la foi mariale dans toutes ses dimensions, mais uniquement la perspective du concile Vatican II la-dessus, ce qui constitue un renouvellement de la mariologie. Le dernier concile oecumenique suit bien sur la tradition mariologique des autres conciles qui avaient traite de la place de Marie dans la foi chretienne, la liant toujours au mystere du Christ. Au cours des siecles, l’Eglise a defini quatre dogmes mariaux: theotokos, la verginite, l’immaculee conception et l’assomption.
