  Abstract:  Die Frage des Todes im Alten Testament. Die Arbeit behandelt die alttestamentliche Lehre der oben genannten Frage. Es beschäftigt sich nicht mit der realwissenschaftlichen, philosophischen, religionsgeschichtlichen, kulturellen, zivilisatorischen Beziehungen. Diese Arbeit möchte nicht die katholische oder protestantische religionsgeschichtlichen oder dogmatischen Lehren synthetisieren. Die ewige Aktualität der Frage steht im Mittelpunkt: jeder stirbt einmal. In drei Kapiteln behandelt die Arbeit dieses Thema: Woher stammt der Tod?, Die Lehre des Alten Testaments vom Tod als Erscheinung, Die Lehre des Alten Testaments vom Tod als Ereignis. Am Ende sucht die Arbeit auf beunruhigenden Fragen die Antwort: Was ist und wo ist der SEOL? Gibt es Auferstehung nach dem Alten Testament?
