  Abstract:   Dinamica editură Sophia aduce în atenţia cititorului de carte teologică o lucrare extrem de interesantă a renumitului teolog John Meyendorff (1926-1992) binecunoscut în universul teologic românesc mai ales datorită excepţionalelor sale lucrări: Biserica Ortodoxă ieri şi azi (1996), Teologia bizantină, tendinţe istorice şi teme doctrinare (1996) şi Hristos în gândirea răsăriteană (1997). Sub titlul Ortodoxie şi catolicitate sunt reunite o serie de studii şi articole publicate între anii 1954-1964 în diferite periodice (Dieu Vivant, St. Vladimir’s Seminary Quaterly, Istina, Cahiers de la Pierre-qui-vive, Esprit) şi care au fost reunite de autor într-un volum în anul 1965 (Orthodoxie et Catholicité, editions du Seuil, 1965).
