  Abstract:  Renouveau et tolérance, 1846-1873. Pour l’évêque, la prédication et les lettres pastorales sont une façon de communiquer avec les fidèles de son diocèse. Durant la période 1846-1873, le métropolite Saguna a suscité une mutation culturelle chez les Roumains de Transylvanie grâce aux lettres pastorales et à la prédication. Pendant cette période difficile du point de vue politique pour les Roumains de Transylvanie, également par la prédication et les lettres pastorales, Saguna e réussi à créer un climat de bonne entente et de tolérance entre les différentes nationalités de Transylvanie.
