PHILO OF ALEXANDRIA – ABOUT REPENTANCE. Authors: ANA BACIU. |
||||||
Abstract: Philo of Alexandria is not a contemplative philosopher, but a faithful man who knows to glance beyond the knowledge of the creative logos. He searched for the meaning of the creatures and the meaning of the divine concepts and their justice. Then, he tried to transpose these meanings into the comunity in order to contribute to its moral and social restauration. Philo shows that all of Moses’s Laws remained through the years and they produced evident mutations in all the civilisations that they got in touch with. Keywords: repent, logos, wisdom, platonism, Moses’s Law |
