Abstract: Statistics with reference to parishes, filiations, clergymen and believers from the Romania Orthodox Diocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj during the first half of the XXth century. In a previous number (Studia Universitatis Babeş – Bolyai Theologia Orthodoxa, LI, no. 2 / 2006, p. 27-38) we presented a statistics of the parishes, filiations, clergymen and believers of the Diocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj on the 1st of September of 1940, that remained in Transylvania, which was occupied by the Hungarians after the Dictate of Viena from the 30th of August of 1940. During this study, we present other three statistics with reference to the Orthodox believers form Transylvania: 1. The church situation within the territory that was “given” to Romania in 1918; 2. The chart of the parishes from the Diocese of Cluj, which was founded after 1918 and 3. The chart of the parishes, filiations and believers that remained in Romania in 1940. These statistics present the church institutions, the clergymen and the Romanian Orthodox believers, who sacrificed their lives for their Country and Church so many times. | |||||||
