  Abstract:  Considerazioni sul sacro e la storia della Chiesa in Oriente e in Occidente. Pubblichiamo sulle pagine della nostra rivista il lavoro del compianto professore e sacerdote Dr. Luciano Peris, prematuramente scomparso tra di noi. Il tema da lui trattato riguarda le due diversi visioni della Chiesa, in occidente e in oriente, di fronte al sacro. Preoccupato di capire le origini delle differenze tra il mondo latino e quello bizantino si è fermato a sottolineare la ragione di queste particolarità, perché dalla sua ricerca spunta anche lo sforzo di presentare in maniera giusta proprio queste varianti ecclesiali. Secondo padre Luciano la diversità è un arricchimento, senza il quale la Chiesa non si presenta nella sua pienezza.
