  Abstract:  Faith: A Matter of Privacy or Public Practice? One cannot dissociate between the inward faith and its actual, exterior, public manifestations as the human being – body and soul – is unitary. It is true, there is the interior, inward, spiritual dimension of faith, but which always manifests itself in exterior attitudes, facts, gestures and words. We cannot draw a clear separation line between public and private life regarding faith; it would be a schizophrenic separation. The virtue of faith without the virtue of love is nonsense. From this perspective, the public manifestation of faith will always defer to love towards the neighbour, love that will not allow Christianity and its members become fundamentalists.
