  Abstract:  The Mission of Christian Families II. Nowadays, many Christians have forgotten or do not know their mission as a family, both in the Church and society. For that matter, a presentation is necessary in order that Christian families - and not only - would come to know their mission so that, afterwards, they can fulfill it, given the fact that both the good and the well functioning of society and Church depend on this mission fulfillment. The content of this mission was outlined at the Second Vatican Council, elaborated by the Synod of Bishops in 1980 and presented by the Familiaris Consortio Post-synodal Exhortation in 1981. This research presents the teaching of the latter with the wish to bring it to notice, taking into account that its ignorance leads to the present condition of the society and Church: total unconcern and abandon of fulfilling the responsibilities inherent to family.
