  Abstract:  Suceag community on a development perspective. The paper is trying to analyze a specific community on two dimensions: development culture and poverty culture and the villager’s orientation toward exogenus or endogenus development oriented programms. The paper uses interviews with the elite and the people of Suceag and also two focus groups in assessing that we are witness to a poverty culture that sustain external involvement aiming at developing the community.
