  Abstract:  Tenoxicam and its inclusion complexes with - and -cyclodextrin were prepared by co precipitation and freeze-drying methods and investigated in solid state by X-ray diffraction and FT IR spectroscopy. The polymorphic III form used in the present was certified by the mentioned methods. The inclusion complex structure, the functional groups involved and the possible mechanisms of inclusion were proposed.
