The effect of gamma radiation on the physical properties of PAA-TiO₂ membranes was investigated by UV-VIS and Raman methods. Before irradiation the UV absorbance of samples increases with the concentration of TiO₂. Important modifications of this property appear after γ irradiation. Some modifications of the Raman spectra can be observed after irradiation.
