  Abstract:  Paratax and Rection in the Prosodic Structure. Macro-syntactic analysis allows the sentence to be divided into several macrosegments, of which, one the nucleus, can stand by itself as a well-formed illocutionary unit. Macrosegments preceding the nucleus are called prenucleus, those following postnucleus. Independently from text analysis, the prosodic component can be analysed through the prosodic macrosegments called prosodic and postfix nucleus (there are no prosodic prefix). This paper presents some cases of textual and prosodic macrosegment alignment obtained from the analysis of a spontaneous speech corpus.
