  Abstract:  Contrairement à la tendance pessimiste des intervenants allemands en ce qui concerne l’avenir des études de philologie roumaines, Eugen Munteanu de l’Université de Jassy fait lui, un véritable éloge des travaux réalisés par les érudits allemands, et présente un plan prometteur pour la marche des travaux en cours, dans les deux pays. Nous pen-sons ici à Alexandru Philippide et à Sextil Puşcariu, les pères de la philologie roumaine moderne, qui, selon Eugen Munteanu, auraient bénéficié d’une formation philologique allemande.
