  Article:   LA EVOLUCION DE LA LIRICA BORGESIANA / EVOLUŢIA LIRICII LUI J. L. BORGES.

  Abstract:  Scriitorul argentinian J. L. Borges îşi începe activitatea poetică în primele decenii ale secolului XX, ca adept al curentului de avangardă spaniol cunoscut sub denumirea de “ultraism”. Poezia din această perioadă are la bază cultul metaforei şi o mai mare libertate în ce priveşte forma strofei (cultivă versul liber). În 1923 se produce ruptura cu estetica futuristo-ultraistă, Borges orientându-se spre un tip de poezie mai elaborată şi mai intelectuală care va atinge punctul culminant în densele poeme de meditaţie filosofică scrise în perioada postbelică. Temele fundamentale ale acestei poezii cerebrale seamănă mult cu cele din celebrele “Ficciones”, tema timpului ciclic, tema fantastică (“Golemul”), tema barocă a “vieţii ca vis”, fiind prezente şi unele motive tipic sudamericane, autorul relizând o reuşită sinteză între universalitate şi argentinitate.
