  Abstract:  Promotional Politicĺs Role and Place in the Marketing Mix. Promotion represents a part, a component of a communication system, a system that a company must design in the relation with the environment. A company has to deliver information about the activity, products and services that are offered, but the public must receive this information. We tried to analyze the role and the importance of promotion for the romanian companies and public in the process of designing an open market, based on competition.
