Abstract:  The Impact of Globalisation on Labour Market. For nearly 30 years data have been showing a continuous widening of the gap between high and low income individuals in industrialised countries. Commonly, the growing inequalities in the distribution of earnings, one asserts to be due to globalisation. In fact, neither theory nor statistics can prove the globalisation is the main factor. Other factors, such as advances in technology are by far more important in influencing the wages of low and high-skilled workers.
