We consider the following first order iterative functionaldifferentialequation with parameter

Using the Schauder’s fixed point theorem we first establish an existencetheorem, then by means of the contraction principle state an existence anduniqueness theorem, and after that a data dependence result. Finally, wegive some examples which illustrate our results.
