  Abstract:  Un eseu asupra tăcerii relevă dintru început marele şi întâiul ei paradox: cum să înţelegi şi să analizezi un fenomen care, a priori, evocă „vidul şi non-dreptul”? Şi totuşi, ea a atras dintotdeauna filosofii şi scriitorii, putând acoperi totodată misterul, dar şi disimularea. Adulată odinioară de antici, ca semn al meditaţiei profunde şi respectului faţă de zei, tăcerea apare astăzi ca element perturbator al relaţiilor juridice, însemn fiind, mai degrabă, al înşelăciunii şi escrocheriei.
