Abstract: The Autonomous Robotic Tank (ART) is a miniature tank built from Lego Mindstorm NXT parts that scans its surrounding and detects targets of an apriori set colour with the help of an ultrasonic sensor, a webcam and a flashlight. ART shoots projectiles towards the identified targets, with a slingshot-based firing system.We have developed two algorithms named FirstTry and SecondTry that can be used in different situations by the tank. The SecondTry algorithmis a more complex adaptation of the FirstTry algorithm. Statistics show that SecondTry algorithm is better than FirstTry. | |||||||
