  Article:   WEB INTERFACE FOR ROUGE AUTOMATIC SUMMARY EVALUATOR.

  Abstract:   The exponential growth of available information over the last yearshas introduced the need of some kind of summarization to remove the redundantor less important pieces and to keep only the essence. At first the text summarization was human-made, followed by automatically summarization techniques.Based on these facts, a set of metrics (e.g. measures) were developed to evaluatethe summaries extracted. For automatic evaluating summaries, using dierentmetrics, it was developed a tool called ROUGE (Recall-Oriented Understudy forGisting Evaluation). While ROUGE must be present on every machine wherethe evaluation takes place, in this paper, we suggest a way for bringing this toolto the web for centralizing and simplifying the process for dierent kind of usersto benefit from the automatic text summarization evaluation.
