  Abstract:  The Evolution of the Touristic Spa Value Enhancement of Salt Water Resources in the Transylvania Depression. In order to find the actual situation of the salt water balneary tourism of Transylvania Depression, an analysis of the evolution of this phenomenon from its beginning and up to our days must be performed. The evolution of the balneary tourism is on several stages, set out by certain social and economical changes that have taken place in time and influenced the Touristic activity. Some stages were marked by positive changes, with new tourist investments, others negatively by the degradation of the former touristic establishment.
