Abstract:  The Climatic Aspects of the Mureş Valley between Reghin and the Confluence with the Aries River. The clime features within the studied area are a consequence of its central position in Transylvania and a result of the passage condition, which brings together masses of air from west. The study in time and space of clime elements was based on some observations that were registered at the Trgu Mureş weather station and moreover on the information provided by the weather stations of Reghin, Ogra and Luduş. Most of this information refers to a lapse of time between 1963 and 2002, although some clime particularities were highlighted in larger periods of time (for example the study of temperature took 123 years between 1880 and 2002). Convening the climate the passage can be divided in regions because of the characteristics of the inferior section which are slightly different from those of the superior section. These characteristics are the penetration of the 90 C (nine degrees) isotherm up until the upper section of Iernut, closely fallowed by the 600 (six hundred) mm isohyet, then the influences of the foehn in the proximity of the confluence with Arieş River, etc.
