  Abstract:  The Analysis of Hydrological Drought in Transylvanian Plain during 1980-1997. This paper present the methodology of studying the phenomenon of hydrological drought from the Transylvanian Plain. The study is based on the analysis of flow debits registered at seven hydrological stations during 18 years and is realized using the methodology developed by the Institute of Hydrology and the UNESCO-OMM Commission. The main aspects of this phenomenon are estimated on each watershed from this region and it is marked out the persistency of this phenomenon during the above mentioned period.
