Abstract:  Difficulties of Freedom within Modern Democracies. The beginning of using the concept of “liberty” is to be found at the Greeks, but the theorization came later, in the XVIII century in France and England. In order to be able to define this term, one should pay attention to the compulsions of liberty; most of its critics say nowadays that liberty cannot be defined in a easy manner and the coercion came first from its own definition.
