  Abstract:  În primele faze în care s-au realizat website-uri, acestea au avut o formă simplă redând întocmai anumite evenimente, manifestări, teme şi mesaje. În scurt timp s-a ajuns la concluzia că, website-urile reprezentau un nou produs al informaţiei şi ele trebuiau realizate într-o formă nouă cerută de acest nou mijloc de informare în masa care a fost internetul. S-a observat de asemenea, că diferite mesaje transmise prin website-uri, pentru a putea fi înţelese, aveau nevoie şi de anumite aspecte de amănunt nu numai de aspecte generale ale informaţiei.
