  Abstract:  Psychology of Risk Applied in Ski selection. Starting from the idea that alpine ski, in its essence, is characterized by equilibrium and risk this study synthetizes present conceptions of risk psychology. On these basis we have elaborated a series of criteria of selection mentioning the measuring instruments of this human dimension involved in performance skiing.
