Abstract: Psyhological Considerations regarding Teaching Swimming by Games. After reviewing the beneficient influences of swimming upon the human body, the authors demonstrate how the process of swimming learning at early ages is dependent upon the fulfillement of three aims: 1. The adaptation to water and implicity the diminution of fear provoked by this unknown enviromment. 2. The complete employement of all the adiacent factors that contribute to the perfect functioning of the body. 3. The achivement of the foundations required for the practice of performance swimming. This study suggests the learning of swimming through games, as a method applicable especially to children even if it is also efficient with adults. | |||||||
