Ouverte, généreuse et passionnée. Ouverte et généreuse dans ses rapports quotidiens, passionnée tout le long de sa carrière de littérature et de critique théâtrale. J’ai connu Maria Căpuşan à l’époque de mes études universitaires, plus exactement en 3e année, en suivant son cours sur le romantisme. Mais peu de temps après le début du semestre, elle a arrêté son enseignement pour partir aux États-Unis, où son mari avait été nommé lecteur de langue et littérature roumaine.
