	Abstract: The eccentricity (u) is the largest distance between u and any other vertex x of G. The eccentric connectivity index (G) of G is defined as (G) . In this paper a new method is presented by which it is possible to compute the eccentric connectivity index of molecular graphs. We apply our method to compute the eccentric connectivity index of toroidal fullerenes. Keywords: Toroidal Fullerene, Eccentric Connectivity index, Topological indices.
