  Article:   SYNTHESIS AND THERMAL BEHAVIOR OF COPPER(II) COMPLEXES CONTAINING N,N’-TETRA(4-ANTIPYRILMETHYL)-1,2 DIAMINOETHANE AS LIGAND.

  Abstract:  

The synthesis of new complexes [Cu(TAMEN)][Zn(NCS)4] and [Cu(TAMEN)ZnCl4(H2O)], where TAMEN stand for the Mannich base N,N’-tetra(4-antipirylmethyl)-1,2-diaminoethane are reported. The molecular formulas are proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, mass spectra, molar conductivity values, UV-VIS and IR spectra. The thermal behavior of the complexes was also investigated.
