  Article:   ZOOPLANKTONIC MICROCRUSTACEANS FROM SEVERAL GLACIAL LAKES LOCATED IN THE RETEZAT MOUNTAINS (TRANSYLVANIA, ROMANIA).

  Abstract:  The present paper represents a list of microcrustacean species (especially cladocerans and cyclopoid copepods) identified in 13 glacial lakes from the Retezat Mountains. The samplings took place in September 2003 and only qualitative analyses were made. Four species of cladocerans (Crustacea, Branchiopoda, Cladocera) and three of copepods (Crustacea, Copepoda, Cyclopidae) were identified in the investigated areas. Other benthic and planktonic groups were also found (on the one hand true fly larvae, Collembola, beetle larvae, ostracods and on the other hand calaniform and harpactiform copepods; rotifers).
