Abstract:  Ethics and Religious Values in Adolescents Sexuality. Sexuality is a vital aspect in adolescents’ life. Youth are sometimes negatively viewed as sex-crazed, hormone-driven individuals who want the perceived independence of adulthood without the responsibility of adulthood. The last few decades have been marked by increased rates of adolescent high-risk sexual behavior and this often results in drastic life-changing consequences. The main goal of the present study was to assess whether a sexual and reproductive education program in schools can be efficient. In our study almost half of the investigated teenagers have started their sexual activity between 15 and 17 years of age and some even earlier. This age group is characterized by irresponsibility and risk taking. The assumed responsibility for an unexpected pregnancy is very low. The ethical, moral and religious values have changed as a consequence of the educational program. The adolescents became more aware of the importance of love over sex, fidelity being very well appreciated. Sexual relationships without love are detracted and moral values are reinforced. We have tried to increase awareness among teenagers that sexual involvement brings along assumed responsibility they must be prepared for the outcomes, wanted or not.
