	Abstract: The author of this article describes the main directions of development of bioethical debate in the Ibero-American context. There are shown also the foundations of these positions and also the main authors who describe and analyze the bioethical issues specific to Latin America. Based on local problems, there are proposed solutions that could be globally valid for all human persons, regardless of geographical, cultural, social, economic or political contexts.
