Rezumat:  In the European Union lobbying decision makers is an integral part of the political process. It is a major industrial and commercial matter, corporations spending considerable amounts of money and energy in trying to shape laws and to amend new proposals coming from the European Commission. Because most of the members of the Parliament and Commission are generalists and have to deal with many different topics it''s not surprising that lobbying have become a usual practice for other organisations and interest groups. Information from industry, NGOs or scientists are therefore welcome, the central problem that occur being the balance between different views and goals. It''s not a mystery that big business is well resourced and very good represented in Brussels. But, many other organisations and associations are making their opinion known. However, decision makers have to ensure that big companies voice does not prevail in the European legislation process.
