Abstract:  ABSTRACT. Sabatarian literature came to us in a form that has many shortcomings. Most of the sabatarian writings were destroyed by fire or time, and those that remain are often little known form of manuscripts, and some of them are in different libraries. The sabatarian authors have written being aware that if it they were discovered they would be severely punished. Thus, the sabatarian authors wrote secretly, in the service of a religious group, persecuted, often amid adverse circumstances. One of these authors note: „I can not write as much as I wanted, because of poverty, because it´s been a few days since I have not even a penny.” These authors were unable to rely on honor or reward or recognition, nor the hope of finding readers to appreciate their work. The oldest known manuscript is titled: Old book of the sabatarian, 60 pages, containing 24 writings.
