  Article:   BIO-BIBLIOGRAPHY OF PRIEST PROFESSOR PHD. ALEXANDRU MORARU TO THE AGE OF 60 YEARS.

  Abstract:  Priest Professor PhD. ALEXANDRU MORARU. He was born on August 16, 1948, in the village of Poiana Ilvei, Bistriţa Năsăud County, in a middle class peasant’s family. His parents were Mitrofan and Ioana Găină. He attended the primary school in his native village (1955-1962), the Romanian Orthodox Theological Seminary from Cluj (1963-1968), The Theological Institute of University Degree from Sibiu (1968-1972); graduate of the Romanian Church History subject matter, with the thesis: Orthodox Confessional schools from the Protopopiate of Sibiu I, Sibiu II (Sălişte) and Nocrih (Agnita) between the years 1848-1918, after documents, under the supervision of Pr. Professor PhD. Mircea Păcurariu; day school Phd. Courses in Theology (1973-1976) at the Theological Institute of University Degree from Bucharest, the History Department, the Romanian Church History subject matter (scientific leader Pr. Professor PhD. Niculae Şerbănescu), latter changing the theme to the History of the Universal Church, from objective reasons (under the guidance of the scientific coordinator Pr. Professor PhD. Ioan Rămureanu) specialization courses at the “Sf. Ştefan” College, Oxford University – England ( January 13, 1979- June 18, 1980), as well as Bulgarian and Palaeoslavic Languages at the “St. Chiril and Metodius” University, Veliko-Tarnovo- Bulgaria (august 1996).
