  Abstract:  L’influence de l’Orthodoxie sur l’Occident catholique et protestant. L’Orthodoxie est subsistée dans l’Occident jusqu''à nos jours, en inspirant plusieurs recherches, tentatives de régénération et réalisations spirituelles de l’Occident, mais nous ne devons pas exagérer ces réminiscences et influences, parce que l’esprit occidental – par la Renaissance – a été plus réceptif à la culture humaniste de la période finale du Byzance que la lumière de l’Orthodoxie; et c’est la Contre-réforme qui – en dispute avec le protestantisme – a organisé la grande œuvre de traduction des écrites patristiques. Au XX-ème siècle l’émigration russe a eu une importante contribution dans l’affirmation de l’Orthodoxie en Occident. La spiritualité et la théologie orthodoxe néo-patristique ont influencé plusieurs théologiens catholiques et protestants, elles ont eu un impact considérable sur le Concile II Vatican et sur le mouvement œcuménique.
