  Abstract:  Anunţată din vreme, lucrarea distinsului Pr. Prof. Dumitru Popescu, membru de onoare al Academiei Române, Iisus Hristos, Pantocrator, ed. EIBMBOR, Bucureşti, 2005, 442 p., de fapt un excelent tratat de Teologie Dogmatică Ortodoxă, a fost aşteptată cu mult interes, atât din partea teologilor cât şi din partea oamenilor de cultură, cunoscând experienţa şi activitatea didactică şi ştinţifică de excepţie a autorului, evidenţiată şi cu ocazia decernării titlului de Doctor honoris causa de către Universitatea „1 Decembrie 1918” din Alba Iulia, cu ocazia împlinirii vârstei de 75 de ani.
