  Abstract:  The Fundament and the Ecclesiologic Place of the Christian Family. In this article, we try to establish which might be the fundament of the Christian family and its ecclesiologic place. The Christian family finds its origin in the sacrament of marriage. That is why this expression „Christian family” belongs only to that community of persons based and built on the sacrament of marriage. Regarding the ecclesiologic place of the Christian family, we testify that it is the new mission assigned by the sacrament of marriage to build between them – husband and wife – and then between all the family members the domestic church, the family church as the Second Council of Vatican says (Lumen Gentium 11).
