  Abstract:  Commentaires de saint Jean Chrysostome sur les théophanies bibliques – À travers les commentaires que ce saint Père de l’Église avait faits pendant son ministère sacerdotal à Antioche sur les passages bibliques qui nous racontent les diverses théophanies, nous cherchons à tracer son portrait d’un point de vue théologique et pastoral. En conclusion, ces passages confirment aussi la qualification de «moraliste» attribué à ce Docteur de l’Église. En même temps, une exégèse toujours actuelle, en manière de lectio divina, en interprétant l’Écriture par l’Écriture et en actualisant selon les besoins de ses ouailles.
