  Abstract:  Semnalăm apariţia în peisajul publicisticii istorice a unei noi reviste care sugerează deschiderea unor noi linii de investigare şi de meditaţie istorică, de dialog şi, nu în ultimă instanţă, de studiu asupra omului şi a societăţilor umane. Nu întâmplător, noua revistă şi-a făcut apariţia în mediul universitar clujean, care s-a arătat în ultimul deceniu foarte deschis faţă de inovaţiile ştiinţei istorice. Ea apare sub egida Seminarului de Antropologie Istorică a prestigioasei Facultăţi. Revista este iniţiată şi condusă de profesorul Toader Nicoară, decanul Facultăţii de istorie a Universităţii clujene, fiind asistat atât de mai tinerii săi colegi Ioan Cârjă, Marius Rotar şi Ana Sima, cât şi de experimentaţii Nicolae Bocşan, Sorin Mitu, Ioan Bolovan, şi Simona Nicoară.
