Abstract:  Towards a Spiritual Revival of Europe. Jacques Maritain’s Integral Humanism. One of the major problems that affects Europe is losing its Christian identity. This is the main cause of the moral and social crisis that tears apart slowly the old continent. The history and the values that built up Europe and the nowadays-European Union are stronger than its erosions. The doctrine of the integral humanism belonging to Jacques Maritain is a referential foundation in the Europe’s spiritual revival. The integral humanism supposes to see the anthropology that respects the unity and the distinction between body and soul and to see a moral theory based on the inalienable dignity and on the divine vocation of the human person. Finally, the integral humanism implies a heroic humanism acquired through spiritual means that invites us to keep unalterably the Hope.
