  Abstract:

Life Communion, Sin and Legal Justice. One of the objectives fixed by the Pope John Paul II for the new millennium is the renewal of the practice of the sacramental confession. This is directly connected to the sense of sin, so low in the Western culture. The presence of an extensive normative reductionism in the comprehension of the sin stands out, as well as a certain permissive romanticism including between the active well-intended Christians. They try to study the theme from the point of view of the 15th chapter of the Saint Luke’s Gospel and its echo in the John Paul’s Apostolic Exhortation Reconciliatio et Paenitentia. The answer to the secularism and to the contemporary relativism must be searched in the existential communion with God and between people, as well as its indissoluble accomplishment in material acts.
