  Abstract:  Volumul de faţă reprezintă o sumă de studii sau, mă rog, “referate" cum sunt denumite de editor, pe care autorii acestora le-au suţinut în cadrul unei con-ferinţe internaţionale (a doua sub acest titlu) care avusese loc la Cluj, proiect aprobat, iniţial, de Ministerul Educaţiei Naţionale. Ioan Vasile Leb, care este, de fapt, şi coordonatorul acestui volum, îşi propunea, la începutul colocviului, “să identifice punctele comune pe care spi-ritualitatea transilvană le are cu spiritua-litatea europeană", un obiectiv măreţ, dar cam dificil pentru reuniunea respectivă dacă îi avem în vedere rezultatele.
