  Abstract:  Legislaţia baziliană a supravieţuit în Orient până astăzi în principala regulă monastică a Bisericii greceşti iar «Bazilienii constituie singurul ordin în Biserica orientală. Influenţa acestor constituţii s-a manifestat în mod foarte extins chiar şi-n Occident, deoarece ele au ajuns până la marii legislatori monastici occidentali, s. Cassian şi Benedict». De aici apare afinitatea mea personală pentru Ordinul bazilian şi interesul meu de a trata acest argument.
