Abstract:  Admiration for the Roman Law in the Acts of the Apostles. The Roman officials and their actions are described by Luke in a way that proves the autor’s admiration for the imperial juridical system. This interest could be based on the aspiration to universality of the first Christians and on the willingness to recognize, preserve and promote all the spiritual and moral values found in the Roman Empire.
